Critical Infrastructure Protection
Birmingham Highways, London City Airport & First Great Western required...
- Centralised visibility over IP networks, remote access, resilient storage, an evidence seizure system
- Complex security systems that will not impact on daily operations
- Budget and programme control as a result of rigorous risk mitigation at the planning stage
migration managed with minimal disruption
Critical Infrastructure customers have many challenges. Daily operations are critical with security needing to be operable at all times, with multiple stakeholders having differing needs to consider.
We adapt our quality management processes to suit the needs of each project so that new systems work reliably from the outset. Our highly detailed designs are quality checked at multiple stages often including pre-building and soak testing as well as factory and site acceptance testing.
Rigorous risk mitigation is built into the design stage of all our
integrated IP networks and security management systems.
As well as ensuring global coverage for authorised personnel, we make sure all footage is resiliently stored and accessible for the specified retention period, typically 31 days.
Additional storage can be provided to facilitate the removal of recorded footage without impacting on the main recording system.
"Their focus on us, the client, and attention to detail continued throughout the implementation phase resulting in a smooth planned transition from the old system. Following the upgrade there has been a transformation in our CCTV capability which is reflected in the view of our stakeholders." Jason Bamforth, ICT Director for London City Airport
