ATEC Security was crowned the winner at this year's Security Excellence Awards (SEA), beating five other finalists in the Small to Medium Security Installer of the Year category.

ATEC achieved the award due to its hard work over the last year for customers such as Birmingham City Council, West Midlands Police, First Capital Connect and Westminster City Council.

ATEC impressed the panel with the quality of CCTV and security system integration and maintenance, high standards of customer support and the quick turnaround of each project. The Judges claimed, “This is a small to medium installer that does big installer work and has a commendable attitude towards time frames.”

Peter Ryans from Birmingham City Council explains, “All of the projects ATEC has undertaken have been completed within the specified timeframes and to a high standard and I am delighted with what they have done for the City. During events, such as the Labour Party conference, the CCTV system proved invaluable when securing the site.”

Prior to achieving this award, ATEC has an enviable record of being regular finalists and previous winners in 2005.
