ATEC becomes the first company awarded the new PSA74:2019 accreditation
The Private Security Authority (PSA) in Ireland is tasked with regulating the activities of those involved in the private security industry to ensure that the interests of consumers are fully protected through the establishment, promotion, monitoring and enforcement of appropriate standards.
PSA launched the new standard for the Electronic Security Sector, PSA 74:2019 on Thursday, 28th March 2019 at ISEC 2019.
The new standard replaces S.R.40, and forms an integral part of the licensing of the Access Control, CCTV and Intruder Alarm sectors in Ireland.
As of 1st October 2019 the new PSA74:2109 requirements came into force. Within 2 days ATEC security were the first business to be successfully audited against the new 2019 standard.
This accreditation ensures that we can continue to offer the highest level of service to our Irish clients including Dublin City Council.
